Chinese Beauty Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Dancing Sleeves Golden Background

The silk of this Chinese beauty scroll painting carries dancing sleeves, cranes, peony, and rocks, handled throughout with meticulous gongbi detail in rich color. Seasoned buyers of classical Chinese lady wall art will recognize the practiced hand at once. A column of calligraphy and a red seal stamp finish one side in literati fashion.

In Chinese art, a dancer caught mid-movement, sleeves flying; peonies, the flower of wealth and honor. Layered washes in balanced, harmonious tones do the quiet work beneath the confident linework. The format suits renters and owners alike — it hangs from a single point. In the balanced, harmonious tones, dancing sleeves finds exactly the mood it needs. Around dancing sleeves, cranes, and peony, the balanced, harmonious tones settle into a calm, unified field.

It works beautifully as the single piece of art in a minimalist room. Collectors of Chinese figure silk painting will feel right at home receiving it.
