Hakama Pants

Hakama 袴 are an iconic clothing item in the history of Japanese fashion. Though they were a staple in Japanese informal and formal high society wear, during the westernization of Japan in the Meiji Era, popularity began to fade and hakama were more commonly seen in tea ceremony and martial arts.
