Landscape Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – House Trees Mountain

For this Chinese landscape scroll painting, the painter chose mountain, house, and trees as the subject and worked it in layered ink washes. Anyone new to Chinese mountain landscape wall decor could start here — the subject explains itself. You can feel the brush moving: quick where the subject runs, slow where it rests.

Chinese viewers would read the scene at a glance: layered mountains receding into the haze, and the natural world here is observed with genuine fondness. Layered washes in balanced, harmonious tones do the quiet work beneath the confident linework. Painted silk like this was once reserved for scholars' studios; now it can hang in any home. The mountain, house, and trees are rendered with layered ink washes, while balanced, harmonious tones tie the whole scene together.

It can anchor a gallery wall or hold its own entirely alone. Anyone furnishing a new home will thank you for a piece like this.
